Now based in Los Angeles, he is known for his fiery guitar work, soulful vocals, and high-energy live performances. A winner of the Albert King Award for Best Guitarist, Menezes brings a fresh, modern voice to the blues while honoring its rich traditions, captivating audiences around the world. Fresh off playing as the only blues-rock artist in the Lollapalooza Brazil lineup, Artur Menezes is making waves with his heavy, psychedelic blues-rock. He has toured Europe, the U.S., and South America multiple times as a headliner, and in the U.S. as an opening act for Buddy Guy, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Eric Gales, and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram. He performed twice at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival (2019, 2023), won the Blues Foundation's Award For Best Guitarist (2018), and played the Experience Hendrix Tours (2024, 2025). Artur is currently working on a new album slated for summer 2026.
