Cheo Pardo –Bio Cheo Pardo (aka José Luis Pardo) is a Latin Grammy-winning artist, guitarist, DJ, producer, and songwriter based in Brooklyn, NY. Best known as the founder of the iconic dance/funk band Los Amigos Invisibles, Cheo has carved out a distinctive space in global dance music with a career that spans continents, genres, and decades. In 2020, Cheo released Sorpresa (Nacional Records), a self-produced and deeply personal record written over several years and recorded in secret. The single “Todo el día en la cama” went viral during the pandemic. His most recent album, Música para verse bien (2023), was tailored for live performance, drawing from funk, soul, jazz, salsa, and boogaloo; In the last year, he has been releasing a 4 volume EP called “Refresco” in which he has re-recorded some of his favorite songs from Los Amigos Invisibles. Cheo’s production credits include standout albums for artists like Rawayana, Okills, Sofía Stainer, Luz Pinos, Simón Grossmann, and Yordano, helping shape the sound of a new generation of Latin musicians. His Live shows are backed by a 5 piece all star band of Latin new Yorkers which embark the audience on a journey thru their diverse music taste bouncing from Disco, Funk, Salsa, Boogaloo and Bossa Nova on a set that will have you dancing with a smile on your face
