Kelly’s Lot - A Public Display of Fun and Affection Kelly's Lot was formed in 1994 by Kelly Zirbes, a folk singer/songwriter with a heart for the blues. They are known for lifting up their audiences with an energetic connection created by the music and the lyrics. With 18 CDs and lots of touring in the USA and Europe, the band celebrates 3 decades since the first night the band hit the stage at the Roxy in Hollywood. Kelly Z met Texas guitar player and sound man, Perry Robertson in 1996, who soon after produced ‘Kelly’s Lot - Live at the Troubadour’. Within a year he joined the band, started writing songs with Kelly Z and added the Southern Rock and Texas Blues influences that have helped shape the Kelly's Lot sound. In the last 10 years they have played USA festivals like BeachLife Ranch, Waterfront Blues Festival, Happy Face Music Festival, Simi Valley Cajun and Blues Festival, Oxnard Jazz Festival, Luckenbach Blues Festival, and in Europe, Caslano Blues Fest, Nuits de Sologne and Lavaudieu Music Festival. Perry has recorded and produced all of the band’s music including studio and live albums, acoustic and electric. In the last couple years Kelly’s Lot has brought their music to folks in Texas, New Mexico, Nevada and Arizona plus more Europe dates in France, Ireland, Croatia and Switzerland. They also keep busy in their home base of Southern California. In Jan 2026 they played the Luckenbach Blues Festival and toured through Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Nevada.
