This night features a solo set by the Latin GRAMMY-winning vocalist, composer, and producer Mireya Ramos featuring music from her self-titled debut album, and a performance by the revolutionary mariachi band she founded, Flor de Toloache. Latin Grammy-winning, all-female group, Flor de Toloache has won the hearts of both progressive and traditional mariachi music fans with their distinct artistic vision and sophisticated, enlightened interpretation of traditional mariachi instruments. Their diverse ethnicities and musical backgrounds transcend culture and gender by forging new paths. The group has graced international stages from Mexico to Japan and has extensively toured the USA and Latin America. Flor de Toloache's latest bilingual album, “Indestructible”, pushes the boundaries of mariachi music and its instrumentation through re-imagined pop covers, originals and new collaborations with artists such as John Legend (singing in español!), Alex Cuba, Cultura Profética and R&B singer Miguel.
