Shiva Ramamurthi - Violin

Shiva Ramamurthi is a disciple of Violin Maestro Shri Delhi P. Sunder Rajan. He was introduced to Carnatic Music at the age of 4, taking vocal lessons from Smt. Padma Kutty. He has performed in various venues throughout the U.S. and India including the prestigious Music Academy in Chennai, and has been participating regularly in the December season in Chennai since 2011. He has had the privilege of performing with senior artists such as Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri Madurai T.N. Seshagopalan, Sangeetha Kalanidhi Smt. S. Sowmya, and Sri D. Seshachary of the Hyderabad Brothers among others. He received the "Best Violinist" award by the Music Academy at the 2017 Spirit of Youth Festival. He is a regular performer with many top artists of the current generation. He is also well versed in Western violin and has performed many multi genre fusion performances. He has had the privilege of collaborating with A.R. Rahman and has been featured as a violinist on multiple Netflix productions. He is currently working as a professional in the field of cybersecurity specializing in AI security and resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Vignesh Venkataraman - Mridangam

Vignesh Venkataraman is a mridangam artist hailing from Sangita Kalanidhi Umayalpuram Sri K. Sivaraman’s school of music. Vignesh was initiated into playing mridangam by Sri Anand Iyer, also from the same school. Over a period of 5 years, Vignesh traveled to India every summer to undergo advanced training under the tutelage of Umayalpuram Sri K. Sivaraman. Vignesh has accompanied various artists, including many senior musicians, in numerous concerts all over the world. He won the Best Mridangist award at the Spirit of Youth festival held by the Madras Music Academy in 2013. He is also learning vocal Carnatic music from Smt.…
