Join us for an intimate evening where poetry and piano meet in quiet conversation. Pulitzer Prize Laureate Forrest Gander and acclaimed pianist Awadagin Pratt come together for a one-of-a-kind performance that weaves spoken word with live improvisation.
Through rhythm and reflection, Mr. Gander will read from his celebrated works while Mr. Pratt responds upon our splendid Steinway Model B. Joining the dialogue by electric screen is Booker Prize winner Shehan Karunatilaka, creating a contemplative space that honors memory, place, and the subtle power of collaboration.
Please plan to arrive on time - preferable around 5:30 PM. Wine tasting will be 5:30 - 6:00 PM. The program will start promptly at 6:00.
