Ten Thousand Hours — by Gravity & Other Myths

It is said that 10,000 hours of practice are required to master any field. This show is an ode to those hours required to achieve greatness—a tribute to the dedication necessary to realize physical ambitions and an acknowledgement that the backstory is often more spectacular than the finished product. The Australian circus company Gravity & Other Myths combines eight acrobats and one musician to investigate physical skill—how we obtain it, how we perfect it, and how it can transform our lives all set to a driving, dynamic, and intricate musical score.
