Adrián Uribe

Adrián Uribe is a Mexican actor and comedian who began his career in theater after graduating from the Institute of Performing Arts, performing with the National Theater Company for over a decade. He transitioned to television with Televisa, appearing on shows including Un Nuevo Día, El Balcón de Verónica, and Más Deporte, where he created his breakout character, Poncho Aurelio. His success led to roles on Los Comediantes, Despierta América (Univision), Picardía Mexicana, and the hit comedy series La Hora Pico, where he introduced iconic characters such as El Vítor, Carmelo, and La Celostina. Uribe later appeared on Big Brother VIP, Bailando por un Sueño, Los 5 Magníficos, Alma de Hierro, 100 Mexicanos Dijeron, Los Héroes del Norte, Hermanos y Detectives, and starred as Captain Hook in the musical Peter Pan. He has also voiced characters in animated films, including Tuke in Brother Bear and Mr. Peabody in the Spanish-language version of Mr. Peabody & Sherman, and has appeared in films such as Suave Patria and Cabeza de Buda. In 2014, he hosted the TVyNovelas Awards, covered the FIFA World Cup for Televisa—where he debuted the popular character Chema Montes—and joined the cast of the telenovela Mi Corazón es Tuyo.
